Rules & Guidelines

About the mun: Esau, 21+, he/him, EST zone.
Rules:
1. Anon is a privilege - hate will be reported, blocked, and anon taken away.
2. Bigotry in its many forms won’t be tolerated - if I see it on your blog (you stating things, reblogging bigoted posts, etc) and I’ll just hardblock.
3. No triggers here, but let me know if you need something tagged. Common triggers will be tagged already. All triggers will be tagged as ‘Example cw’.
3a. There are only a few things I will not tag as triggers. These are things you normally see walking around in public, that you might see anywhere, and are generally considered for ‘all audiences’ (seen in stores, advertisements etc). Some examples: shirtless men, children/babies, pregnancy (normal/healthy pregnancy), kissing, drinking (normal drinking, alcohol abuse or excessive drunkenness is another matter). These are things almost everyone has to see/deal with on a daily basis and thus, won’t be given tags.
4. If you want to continue an ask, please put it into a fresh thread and tag me. I will not respond to reblogged asks. (This only applies if I use the inbox interface)
5. I am a ‘mutuals only’ blog. That is, I only RP with people who follow me, that I follow back. I am selective who I follow and RP with, but I am not overly picky.
I am however, mostly interested in Dragon Age. I know only a few other fandoms (mostly Warcraft, Diablo, LOTR, and D&D). I do not know FF, GoT, Mass Effect, FallOut, Elder Scrolls, or any of those. Fair warning.
With that in mind, generally speaking if you do not have a visible Dragon Age verse/character on your blog, I won’t follow you back.
5a. I block personal blogs, fandom or not, that follow me. If your RP blog is a side blog, PLEASE IM me before following me, so I know not to block you!
6. If I write a starter for you and you do not respond in a month (without warning), I will drop the thread. I am here to RP.
7. Reblog from the source please - this includes memes, art posts, musings, etc. And please, do not reblog my headcanon posts.
8. All muns must be 18+, and all muses must be over 18 for romantic ships (I’m willing to do platonic plots with underage muses though).
9. I will be formatting with small font (1x not double). I might use an icon or small gif in meme responses, but otherwise will not be using them. I don’t mind if you use them however, so long as you don’t use large gifs.
AN IMPORTANT NOTE ON SHIPPING:
While Faolan is technically bisexual, I am a gay man in real life.
With that in mind, I’m going to be very particular and selective about shipping with female muses, and it will mostly be reserved for people I already have a rapport with. I have become less comfortable with hetero-ships with muns I haven't gotten to know. However in the mean time things like crushes, unrequited feelings, and flirting are all adored from everyone.
NSFW stuff: Hetero-ships' smut will most likely go fade-to-black unless I’m very comfortable with you (as a mun). I have no issues reading it however, so don’t feel as if you must censor yourself if I sent you a NSFW meme on ‘Sinday’.
I don’t have a password, and I don’t send them in, but it’s usually pretty obvious to me when someone hasn’t read mine. So thanks for getting through all this!
Faolan Cousland

“You will guard them and they will hate you for it. Whenever there is not a Blight actively crawling over the surface, humanity will do its best to forget how much they need you. And that’s good. We need to stand apart from them, even if they have to push us away to make us do it. That is the only way we can ever make the hard decisions.”
What happened at Castle Cousland could in no way be described as a battle. It was a massacre. Arl Howe's men tore through small company of guards left behind after the army moved out to Ostagar, murdering the Teryn and Teryna, only their youngest son barely managing to escape, with the help of Warden-Commander Duncan.
The Warden however, hadnlt quite realized how full his hands would be with his conscription of young Faolan Cousland. A rebel from the start, the Commander had to take a firm stance to take the young man in hand.
Such stubbornness however, became necessary, as Loghain's treachery became clear, and Bryce Cousland's young 'Pup' shouldered the burden of the Blight.

Main: Faolan follows In-Game course of events, becoming the Hero of Ferelden
Non-HoF: Origins the same, but another Warden takes the lead during the fight against the Blight. (Can be a Warden or not)
Dragon Age 2/Kirkwall: Instead of being rescued and taken away by Duncan, Faolan managed to escape Castle Cousland on his own, fleeing north, across the Waking Sea, to Kirkwall. He arrives in the Marches desperate and angry. (Can become a Hawke companion or perhaps even an alternate 'Champion of Kirkwall').
Inquisition (main): Warden-Commander Cousland arrives in Skyhold to help the Inquisition, finally responding to Sister Nightingale's numerous letters. And he is... angry. Corypheus better watch out.
